WORDS FROM THE HOLY FATHER
“Mary’s Heart is like a pearl of incomparable splendour, formed and smoothed by patient acceptance of God’s will through the mysteries of Jesus meditated in prayer.“
About The Author
I live in the United Kingdom and I have recently retired after more than thirty years as a specialist nurse, a career which taught me a lot and which I enjoyed greatly. Those years have left me with wonderful memories and some very good friends. Now, I am looking forward to beginning some new adventures and finding new challenges.
The creative pull is very strong and I love to make things – sewing, making heirloom Rosaries, baking artisan bread and writing words on a page. I particularly enjoy making images with a camera – you can see some examples of my photographic work here. I’ve been fortunate to travel to the United States on many occasions and this offered the chance to capture some lovely photographs. My favourite subjects are derelict places, landscapes and portraits. I especially love monochrome work and long-exposure photography.
I enjoy thinking and watching world events and then writing about what I observe. But more than anything, I love to write about my experience of living my Faith. I hope you might gain something from what I have written, or at least enjoy reading it – please feel free to leave a comment if you do.
Faithful and submissive to the Holy Father and to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church
