A Catholic Perspective

on Life and Faith

I live in Central Scotland and after more than thirty years as a registered nurse, I am looking forward to retiring from work in a few weeks and then beginning some new adventures.

Away from work, I love to spend time with family and friends and with my little dog, Rosie.

The creative pull is very strong and I love to make things – whether sewing, making Rosaries (you can see an example here) or writing words on a page or screen.

I particularly enjoy making images with a camera – you can see some examples of my photographic work here. I’ve been fortunate to travel to the United States on many occasions and this offered the chance to capture some lovely photographs. My favourite subjects are derelict places, landscapes and portraits. I especially love monochrome work and long-exposure photography.

I enjoy thinking and watching world events and then writing about what I observe.

More than anything, I love to write about my experience of my Faith.

I hope you might gain something from what I have written.

Please feel free to leave a comment if you do.
