Mr Will Ross
Original Catholic Writing
I live in Scotland and I have recently retired after more than thirty years as a registered nurse, a career which I enjoyed greatly and which has left me with some wonderful friends.
Now, I am looking forward to beginning some new adventures and some new challenges.
The creative pull is very strong and I love to make things – whether sewing, making heirloom Rosaries, writing words on a page or screen, or baking artisan bread.
I particularly enjoy making images with a camera – you can see some examples of my photographic work here. I’ve been fortunate to travel to the United States on many occasions and this offered the chance to capture some lovely photographs. My favourite subjects are derelict places, landscapes and portraits. I especially love monochrome work and long-exposure photography.
I enjoy thinking and watching world events and then writing about what I observe. But more than anything, I love to write about my experience of my Faith.
I hope you might gain something from what I have written, or at least enjoy reading it – please feel free to subscribe or to leave a comment if you do.
WORDS FROM THE HOLY FATHER
“Our prayers are fulfilled and completed when we intercede for others and take care of their concerns and needs. Prayer does not separate us or isolate us from anyone, as it is love for all.“
Faithful and submissive to the Holy Father and to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church
